UZPAYNET abolishes commissions for its services
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UZPAYNET, a system for accepting payment for various services in Uzbekistan, abolished commissions for its services.

The commission was abolished in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On approval of regulation on order of passing permission procedures in banking business by business entities” from 10 March 2014.

UZPAYNET said that it introduced change to the system of settlement at accepting payment via its agents’ network and from 19 March 2014 it abolished commissions for received payments from the payers.

UZPAYNET underlined that the commission was abolished for services of mobile operators (Beeline, Perfectum Mobile, UCell, UzMobile), fixed telephony (branch of Uzbektelecom), internet providers (Sharq Telekom, Uzonline, Skyline), long-distance and international telephony (Platinum Mobile, Platinum connect online), television (UZDIGITAL TV, Stars TV) and optical communication line Ethernet (ISTV).

At the same time, the company said it will not accept payments for fixed telephony (branch of Uzbektelecom), internet providers (Sharq Telekom, Uzonline, Skyline) and television (UZDIGITAL TV, Stars TV) for the time being.

UZPAYNET said it is holding negotiations with suppliers of services to determine new terms of work with these companies to comply with requirements of new regulation.

According to Central Bank of Uzbekistan, currently UZPAYNET is only registered general agent of payment agents’ network in Uzbekistan.
