UZMOBILE provides services for over 1m subscribers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Number of mobile subscribers of national mobile operator UZMOBILE exceeds 1 million, the director of the operator Vladimir Kravchenko said today.
National mobile operator UZMOBILE provides mobile communications services in CDMA-450 and GSM standards. UZMOBILE started to provide GSM services from 15 April 2015.
Kravchenko said that since 2015, the operator has installed over 1,200 base stations of 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE in Uzbekistan. In 2017, the company plans to install 1,500 base stations.
He said that currently over 600 dealers of the operator work in Uzbekistan. Kravchenko said that the company works on improving service quality and plans to increase number of dealers.
UZMOBILE said that the company procured Mobile laboratory for measuring and testing the quality of CDMA-450 and GSM network services throughout the country.
Vladimir Kravchenko noted that UZMOBILE is working on new projects, including the launch of new services for subscribers.
