RIA Novosti reported quoting source of the combine said that the Government of Uzbekistan ordered to the combine to submit preliminary feasibility study of the project by the end of January 2013. In the first half of 2013, the combine will protect the project and approve source of financing.
The source said that tender on purchase of equipment can be announced in the third quarter of 2013. In October-November 2013, it is planned to launch construction of the capacities.
The project envisages on organization of production of weldless pipe for oil and gas industry with the diameter of 25-426 mm with thickness of 6-25 mm. The capacity of the plant will make up 30,000 tonnes a year. The plant will reach its full capacity in 2015.
The project with preliminary cost of US$90 million will be conducted due to own resources of Uzmetkombinat and loans of the Uzbek banks.
