The plant delivered 691,600 tonnes of ferrous metals at the forecast task of 667,800 tonnes, the company added.

In the reporting period, Uzmetkombinat increased production of mill balls by 0.7% to 167,700 tonnes.

The enterprise produced goods for 632.5 billion soums in current prices or 527.4 billion soums in comparable prices in 12 months of 2010. The growth rate of goods production made up 1.9% year-n-year in 2010.

Uzmetkombinat produced consumer goods for 19.1 billion soums in 2010, the press service said in its statement.

The enterprise said it signed export contracts on supply of metal roll to Turkmenistan and Iran and delivery of radiator lines to Kazakhstan and Iran.

The company produced localized goods for 133.4 billion soums on 27 projects in 2010 compared to forecast task of 96.2 billion soums.

The enterprise carried out measures to cut prime cost. The prime cost decreased by 12.163 billion soums against 11.24 billion soums of forecast task.

In 2010, the enterprise used capital investments for 38.2 billion soums at the forecast level of 37.8 billion soums. The enterprise directed 26.45 billion soums to modernization programme at the forecast level of 26.44 billion soums.
