Uzmetkombinat produces 559,600 tonnes of steel
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzmetkombinat (Uzbek Metallurgy Combine) produced 559,600 tonnes of steel at the forecast volume of 537,800 tonnes (fulfilled with 4% surplus) in nine months of 2010.

The enterprise also manufactured 543,800 tonnes of ferrous metals at the set task of 516,000 tonnes (fulfilled with 5.4% surplus) in the reporting period.

Uzmetkombinat produced 129,300 tonnes of milling balls. The growth rate made up 12.3% compared to the same period of 2009.

The combine produced goods for 491.1 billion soums in current prices and 411.5 billion soums in comparable prices. The growth rate made up 0.5% year-on-year.

Uzmetkombinat manufactured consumer goods for 14.2 billion soums, fulfilling set task for the period with 0.3% surplus.

The enterprises inked export contracts on supply of metal roll to Turkmenistan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.

In the reporting period, the enterprise produced 90,260 tonnes of localized products for 96.877 million soums, fulfilling set task for the period with 33.8% surplus.

In nine months, the combine used capital investments for 25.9 billion soums at the forecast volume of 24.5 billion soums (forecast task fulfilled with 5.6% surplus). Within the modernization programme, the enterprise used 20.6 billion soums at the forecast task of 19.3 billion soums (forecast task fulfilled with 6.4% surplus)
