The press service of the company said Uzmetkombinat produced 165,200 tonnes of steel and 167,300 tonnes of ready metal roll.

In the reporting period, the company produced 45,600 tonnes of milling balls (+9.8% year-on-year) and consumer goods for 8.4 billion soums (+13%).

The combine manufactured localized goods for 29.813 billion soums. The forecast volume was fulfilled with 10.1% surplus.

The combine utilized investments for 8.44 billion soums in the first quarter of 2012 at the forecast volume of 8.42 billion soums. The volume of investments, utilized within the modernization programme, made up 8.2 billion soums.
