Representatives of fraction of UzLiDeP, MPs of Legislative Chamber, mass media and experts participated at the session.

Participants discussed several draft laws, which were submitted to the Legislative Chamber for consideration.

MPs considered a draft law “On family entrepreneurship”. The document is directed at creating necessary legislative base of family entrepreneurship in various sectors of economy as important form of small businesses and private entrepreneurship. This form of business also fully meets national traditions and doing business.

UzLiDeP MPs paid attention to that family business will be determined as separate organizational-legal form and family enterprise will run business.

Members of the fraction also considered a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to “Air Code of Uzbekistan”.

The document introduces changes and amendments to the Air Code to harmonize it with standards and recommended practices of ICAO, as well as international agreements, which Uzbekistan joined. It also implements recommendations of ICAO commission on the result of audit of Uzbekistan in July 2008. After the discussion, the draft law was approved by the UzLiDeP fraction.

At the session, MPs discussed a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to law “On guarantees of freedom of entrepreneurship activity”. MPs approved its concept of the draft law.

UzLiDeP fraction also considered a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to law “On tax consultants”.

The draft law introduces changes, amendments and clarification to the law “On tax consultants”, while some clauses will be given in new edition. The fraction approved it with proposals and recommendations.
