Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Evgeny Korjikov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanot, held talks with representatives from the Japanese companies ITOCHU Corporation and Toyo Engineering Corporation, as reported by the press service of Uzkimyosanot.
During the discussions, the parties examined the strategy for developing Uzbekistan’s chemical industry, focusing on the use of alternative energy sources, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and projects aimed at producing "green" products.
They also explored prospective projects involving Toyo Engineering Corporation as a licensing and technical partner. The participants considered opportunities for attracting direct foreign investments and financing from Japanese financial institutions for these projects.
