Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzkimyosanoat (Uzbek Chemical Industry) state joint stock company will pay dividends for 2009, the company said in a statement.

Shareholders of the company decided to pay 140.83 soums per ordinary share with par value of 10,000 soums.

Total number of shares, on which dividends are paid, makes up 13,078,400.

As earlier reported, net income of Uzkimyosanoat made up 8.185 billion soums in 2009 against 1.858 billion soums in 2008.

Uzkimyosanoat state joint stock company is a holding company that unites leading chemical companies in Uzbekistan. The company carries out production, innovation and marketing activities of biggest chemical companies thus creating basis for stable development of chemical companies as well as the whole Uzbekistan economy.

The holding includes — 12 production companies, 13 local minerals distribution organizations, 2 research and project institutes and Kimyotrans, transportation and expeditor company.
