The industry produced consumer goods for 66.2 billion soums. The growth rate made up 6.2% year-on-year. The sector manufactured new goods for 130.2 billion soums, including potash fertilizers for 96.3 billion soums.

The press service of Uzkimyosanoat said that the enterprises produced 1.172 million tonnes of mineral fertilizers, including nitrogenous fertilizers – 924,300 tonnes, phosphoric fertilizers – 139,400 tonnes, potash fertilizers – 108,000 tonnes. The forecast on chemical goods exports was fulfilled with 10.8% surplus.

In line with the localization programme in 2011, goods for 269.8 billion soums were produced within 33 projects. The growth rate made up 12.1%.

Enterprises of Uzkimyosanoat attracted capital investments for 57.7 billion soums within implementation of investment projects, included to Investment Programme.

In 2011, the capacities on production of cosmetics, diapers and other hygienic goods were launched at Navoi free industrial and economic zone. Maxam-Chirchiq launched production of porous saltpeters, etc.

In line with the agreements, signed at International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, the enterprises purchased goods for 97.5 billion soums.

The industry created 381 new jobs in 2011, including 181 outworks, the company said.
