UzKDB Bank to increase charter capital to 23.643bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UzKDB Bank, an Uzbekistani bank owned by Korea Development Bank, will increase charter capital 2.91 times to 23.643 billion soums.

The decision of the UzKDB Bank on emission of shares has been registered by the Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market of Uzbekistan on 6 January 2011.

According to the prospectus of emission, the bank will issue 159,700 ordinary shares with par value of 148,639 soums each. Total volume of emission is 23,643,574,100 soums.

The shares will be placed on close subscription among shareholder. The shares will be placed on par value. The shares will be placed through replacement of shares with nominal value of 51,050 soums to new shares with par value of 148,630 soums.

The difference between new and old par value for 15.552 billion soums will be paid due to undistributed income of previous years.

Currently, the charter capital of UzKDB Bank makes up 8.12 billion soums. Korea Development Bank (61%), EBRD (27.8%), National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity and Turonbank (5.6% each) are shareholders of the bank.
