Uzkabel directs 171.802m soums for dividends’ payment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Shareholders of Uzkabel joint venture in form of open joint stock company allotted its net income for 2009, the company disclosed in a statement, published in local media.
In line with the decision, the company will direct 171.802 million soums to payment of dividends for 2009. The size of dividend per share will make up 400 soums.
Shareholders also directed 8.938 million soums to reserve fund of the company, the statement underlined.
Uzkabel is the largest producer of cable and wire products in Central Asia. Uzkabel’s capacity is 50,000 tonnes of copper rod wire, trolley wire - 9,800 tonnes, telephone cable - 15,000 km, and logging cable for oil industry - 8,300 km.
