UZINFOCOM and MEEZA sign memorandum of understanding
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies participated in the Web Summit Qatar 2025, an international IT conference held in Doha, Qatar.
During the summit, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Rustam Karimjonov, CEO of MEEZA Mohammed Ali Al-Ghaithani, and UZINFOCOM’s Business Development Director Bakhtiyor Rizaev.
MEEZA is a leading IT service provider in Qatar, offering a wide range of solutions, including infrastructure management, cloud services, data center solutions, and cybersecurity. The company serves various sectors, including finance, healthcare, government, and the oil and gas industry. As a publicly traded company, MEEZA has a market capitalization exceeding $500 million.
The partnership aims to foster IT education, digital technologies, and business process outsourcing between Qatar and Uzbekistan. The parties will collaborate on developing educational programs, implementing innovative solutions, and creating outsourcing opportunities, contributing to economic growth and long-term cooperation.
Moving forward, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, UZINFOCOM, and MEEZA will establish a joint framework to ensure the seamless implementation of all initiatives.
