Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — UzHydromet has issued an emergency weather warning regarding worsening conditions in the coming days. A moist and cold air mass is expected to move into Uzbekistan from 29 November to 2 December.
Heavy rains are forecasted in most regions of the country on 29 November and 1 December, with localized areas potentially seeing rain turn into snow on 30 November and 1 December.
Temperatures will gradually decrease, reaching between 3°C below freezing and 2°C above freezing at night on 1-2 December, with daytime temperatures ranging from 3°C to 8°C. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures will drop to between 3°C and 8°C below freezing, with daytime temperatures ranging from -2°C to 3°C.
In the foothill and mountainous areas, from 29 November to 1 December, there may be mudslides and flooding due to accumulated rainwater in some areas of the republic.
