UZEX: goods sold worth 3.92 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the period from 25 to 31 March, goods worth 3.92 trillion soums were sold on all trading platforms of the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX), which is 37.3% more than the previous week. Of these, 69.9% of concluded transactions were made through exchange trading, and the remaining 30.1% were through e-commerce trading systems.

The total volume of transactions concluded with the participation of small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 692.7 billion soums. As a result of electronic tendering for public procurement, the total savings of budgetary and corporate customers amounted to 150.3 billion soums.

During the period under review, 5,505 license plates worth 22.8 billion soums were sold through an online auction.

Exchange trading

During the reporting period, commodity resources worth 2.74 trillion soums were sold at open exchange auctions, including:

Liquefied gas

Some 13,352.0 tons of liquefied gas were put up for exchange trading, of which 8,164.0 tons, or 61.1%, were sold. An average of 221 buyers took part in exchange trading every day.

During the period under review, the daily average price for liquefied gas decreased from 5.08 million soums to 4.96 million soums per ton.

Sugar

During the past week, 11,500.0 tons of sugar were put up, of which 3,086.0 tons or 26.8% were sold. An average of 46 buyers took part in exchange trading every day.

During the period under review, the daily average price for sugar of all categories decreased from 13.58 million soums to 13.41 million soums per ton.

Urea

Last week, 9,053.0 tons of urea were offered, of which 8,051 tons or 88.9% were sold. An average of 115 buyers took part in exchange trading every day.

During the period under review, the daily average price for all grades of urea decreased from 3.9 million soums to 3.85 million soums per ton.
