Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of their visit, a delegation from Jezetek (Sichuan Investment Holding Group) held talks with Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the UzeltekhsanoatAssociation, as well as his deputies Faridun Abdulayimov and Abror Boev.

The discussions focused on training qualified specialists for the electrical engineering sector, joint production of high-voltage cable and wiring products, and the implementation of collaborative projects in the field of electronics.

Representatives of the association provided a detailed overview of Uzbekistan’s favorable business environment, the state’s support for the electrical engineering industry, and the available opportunities for development.

A key topic of discussion was the potential opening of a Jezetek college branch in Uzbekistan to train highly qualified professionals, along with the organization of advanced training courses. The importance of introducing both short-term and long-term educational programs aimed at knowledge exchange was emphasized.

The parties also exchanged ideas on establishing new production facilities for cable and wiring products in partnership with local enterprises. In this regard, a visit by Jezetek representatives to Uzbek electrical engineering companies has been planned.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the Eltech-Malaka training center under the association and reviewed the facilities available there.

Background: Jezetek was founded in 1958 and includes 51 enterprises, five research centers, seven joint laboratories, and various other divisions. The company specializes in the production of high-tech equipment, multimedia devices, software development, and financial management.
