Economy 04/09/2009 Uzeltehsanoat, Uzbekistan Green Energy Ltd discuss development of renewable energy
Uzeltehsanoat Association
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Chairman of Uzeltehsanoat Association, uniting radio-electronic, electrotechnical and instrument enterprises, Askar Rasulov met a delegation of Uzbekistan Green Energy Ltd led by its President Mr. Eui-Hun Chung.

During the meeting the Korean party presented the information on the direction of the activity of Uzbekistan Green Energy Ltd and their intentions for cooperation on realizing projects directed to creation of new network of energy supply on the basis of renewed energy means such as wind generators and photovoltaic stations.

The Uzbek party presented information on the activity of Uzeltechsanoat Association and realized projects on production of photovoltaic stations on the basis of Foton joint-stock company.

Following the results of negotiations the parties came into conclusion on further information exchange concerning the issue and the other projects on the given direction.

Uzeltehsanoat Association was created in 1994 by reorganization of the Uzbek state Concern of the radio-electronic, electrotechnical industry and instrumentation plants Radioelectrontehpribor in line with the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 21 January 1994 “About measures for further deepening of economic reforms, maintaining protection of a private property and business development”, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 144 dated 17 March 1994, and the decision of founders.

Main objectives and activity of the Association are carrying out of a common state technical policy in electrotechnical sphere; defining perspective strategy of a sustainable development of the radio-electronic, electrotechnical industry and instrumentation plants branch, taking into account the advanced international experience and economic sphere, etc.
