Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UZCE), led by the Deputy General Director Aziz Nagaev, took part in the International Exchange Forum: “The Role of Exchanges in the Transformation of Financial Markets,” which was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The forum, which brought together leading experts and representatives of the exchange community from around the world, was organized by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC (KASE) as part of the XI Congress of Kazakhstan financiers, as well as events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of KASE.
At the forum, financial experts from around the world discussed current topics in the development of stock markets, digital infrastructure and tools, the organization of trading in government securities, trends in the development of IPOs, the digitalization of financial services and the growing activity of retail investors in capital markets, the development and promotion of the ESG principles and products in the financial market.
As part of the event, Aziz Nagaev acted as a speaker at the panel discussion “Development of exchange markets in the region.”In the course of discussion, the representative of the UZCE familiarized participants with the rapidly developing activities of the exchange, development prospects and opportunities provided to participants and investors.
During his speech, the Deputy General Director of the UZCE paid special attention to the measures undertaken at the UZCE to develop the capital market and offer opportunities for attracting foreign participants to the securities market of Uzbekistan.
