UzBuild, MebelExpo Uzbekistan opens in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UzBuild, Uzbekistan’s building and interiors exhibition, and MebelExpo Uzbekistan, the 7th Uzbekistan International Exhibition for Furniture, Production Technologies, Interior and Design, opened today in Tashkent.

UzBuild is the biggest construction exhibition in Uzbekistan, in terms of its size and number of exhibitors. Last year, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) awarded UzBuild "UFI Approved Event" status.

UzBuild 2010 will feature 120 companies from 15 countries, including: Austria, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland, France and Sweden.

The exhibition will cover the main industry sectors: building materials; ceramics; stone; construction equipment; varnishes and paints; roofing materials; heating and ventilation systems; floor coverings; windows and doors; saunas and swimming pools; sanitary ware; electrical equipment and others.

International companies, including both regular and new exhibitors, account for 55% of the total number of exhibitors. Domestic companies account for 45% of all UzBuild exhibitors.

MebelExpo Uzbekistan demonstrates the latest solutions for furniture production. This year, the exhibition will be a centre of business communication for furniture and furnishing manufacturers, as well as suppliers of modern equipment and consumables.

The event will feature over 30 exhibitors from 10 countries, including: Austria, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Italy, China, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2010 will be held in one venue, UzExpoCenter, alongside the most prestigious construction and interiors exhibition, UzBuild, which will cover almost all the related areas of the furniture and construction industry.

The exhibition is organised by ITE Uzbekistan and its partner, I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd (UK). The exhibitions will last till 12 March.
