Uzbekyengilsanoat to increase goods export by 2.7 times by 2015
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekyengilsanoat state joint stock company (Uzbek Light Industry) is planning to increase exports of products by 2.7 times by 2015 compared to 2010.

According to the company, the export of light industry will grow from US$592.8 million in 2010 to US$1.578 billion in 2015. The export of industry will make up US$733.5 million in 2011, US$985.1 million in 2012, US$1.195 billion in 2013 and US$1.376 billion in 2014.

Export of cotton yarn will increase from 155,100 tonnes for US$372.2 million in 2010 to 277,500 tonnes for US$666 million in 2015. The growth makes up 1.8 times.

Uzbekistan is planning to increase export of ready fabrics by 2.8 times to 95 million square meters in 2015. The exports sum will make up US$34.1 million in 2010 to US$133 million in 2015.

Supplies of stockinet to foreign markets will grow to 36,800 tonnes (US$161.9 milllion) from 15,000 tonnes (US$66 million) in 2010 (growth – 2.5 times). Export of knitwork will rise from 45.5 million units (US$91 million) in 2010 to 143.2 million units (US$286,400 million) in 2015.

Uzbekyengilsanoat is planning to increase export of ready-made garments to 34.1 million units (against 1.6 million units) and hosiery to 60 million pairs (7 million pairs) in 2015. Revenue from export of these goods will make up US$306 million (US$14.2 million in 2010) and US$24 million (US$2.8 million in 2010) respectively.
