Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom has reduced the tariff for an Internet channel for operators and providers of Uzbekistan.
According to the company, starting from 10 July 2018, the cost of the Internet channel tariff for operators and providers connected to the International Packet Switching Center has decreased from 244,958 soums to 176,682 soums per 1 Mbps.
The company also reduced and established a single tariff for the Internet channel, regardless of its capacity and the region of connection for operators and providers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, connected through the telecommunications network of the Center for the operation of the transport network of Uzbektelecom.
Earlier the cost of the tariff was from 410 000 soums to 309 550 soums for 1 Mbps, depending on the region of connection and capacity of the channel.
Starting from 12 July, the cost is 265,000 soums per 1 Mbps regardless of region and capacity of the channel. This step will create favorable conditions for the development of the regional Internet services market.
