Uzbektelecom plans to sell netbooks for students

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom joint stock company is planning to start o sell netbooks for students in installments, Director-General of the company Mahsum Mahmudov said on Monday.

Mahmudov underlined that the students will be able to pay for netbooks during their studies at university and they can pay from their stipends.

He said that netbooks will be connected to Internet via Uzmobile modems, which work on CDMA 450 standards.
