Uzbektelecom plans to launch 50 one-stop-shop offices across Uzbekistan and 26 of them were opened in various regions of Uzbekistan and Tashknet by 1 September 2011. Some more offices were opened in October and November 2011.
The company said it opened 13 new offices in Andijan, Namangan, Ferghana, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand region on 5-7 December 2011.
In new offices, the subscribers can receive consulting, necessary information materials, familiarize with existing equipment, sign agreements and pay for servces.
Earlier, the company’s subscribers had to visit various branches of Uzbektelecom to receive fixed telephony services, Internet access, mobile communication, etc. Now, they can visit one office and receive all necessary services and support.
At one-stop-shop offices, the clients can receive such services as fixed telephony, broadband internet, mobile telephony, mobile internet, video telephony, digital television from Uz Digital TV.
Uzbektelecom renders services under three trademarks — UZTELECOM™, UZMOBILE™ and UZONLINE™.
Under the general trademark UZTELECOM and slogan – National Operator, the company renders traditional services for retail sector and full-range of services for operators in internal and international markets.
UZMOBILE trademark is designed for complex of mobile and stationary telecommunication serviced on the base of CDMA-450 standard.
UZONLINE trademark will promote telecommunication service of new generation for retail sector – services based on IP-technologies such as IP-telephony, IPTV, universal payment cards, and others.
The company said that it is planning to launch new offices and their total number will reach by the end of December 2011. In 2012, the company plans to launch similar offices across Uzbekistan.
