In particular, Uzbektelecom developed local telecommunication network with the capacity of 292,000 subscriber ports and expanded international centers for commutation on NGN technologies.

According to Uzbektelecom, the company also carried out modernization of international center on package commutation.

The company installed 140 basic stations and constructed five switching center in 2012. In the result, number of settlements, covered with mobile network of UZMOBILE, reached 8,440, while network coverage level hit 71%, the company said.

Uzbektelecom is planning to invest 158 billion soums to modernization and expansion of network in 2013.
