Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom continues to actively develop broadband Internet access services. Work is underway to reduce the cost for the end user, increase their availability for all categories of subscribers, including in remote areas of Uzbekistan. 

In addition to building up its own infrastructure and services, the Company creates conditions for the development of services provided by other operators and providers.

In particular, since November 2020, the cost of the channel provided to operators and providers through the international packet switching center has been reduced. 

The cost has been reduced by 20% compared to previous tariffs from 56,000 to 45,000 soums per 1 Mbps. If we compare the tariffs for the provision of the international packet switching center channel over the past 3 years, then we can trace the dynamics of a decrease in the cost by more than 5 times, from 244,000 to 45,000 soums per 1 Mbps.
