The company said that active development of Uzbektelecom and expansion of its infrastructure pushed it to update and develop single strategy of service promotion and its divisions to form positive image and introduction of single visual standards of designing documents, premises and advertisers. Based on this, Uzbektelecom conducted rebranding.
Interbrand Marketing LLC realized a rebranding project. Within the project, new visual logotype, single brand name of services UZTELECOM (general brand) and sub-brands, standards of firm style, document turnover, corporate, souvenir and advertisement-information products.
The company said that after full rebranding, Uzbektelecom has full complex of branded products, developed in line with the international standards and new marketing strategy for promotion of main brand and sub-brands.
UZTELECOM became a general service brand of Uzbektelecom and UZMOBILE and UZONLINE are sub-brands.
The most important element of the brand is logotype, which has stylized graphic image, characterizing communication industry. Blue color symbolizes cleanness, constancy, and intellect. UZTELECOM can be read in Uzbek, Russian and English without problems.
Under the general brand UZTELECOM and slogan – National Operator, the company will render traditional services for retail sector and full-range of services for operators in internal and international markets.
UZTELECOM sub-brands include complex of telecommunication services for corporate sector – fixed telephony, wireless and wire broadband Internet, data transfer, Virtual Private Networks, IP-telephony, IPTV, virtual office automatic switching center, videoconference, mobile communication and mobile data transfer. UZONLINE sub-brand will promote telecommunication service of new generation for retail sector – services based on IP-technologies such as IP-telephony, IPTV, universal payment cards, and others.
UZMOBILE sub-brand is designed for complex of mobile and stationary telecommunication serviced on the base of CDMA-450 standard.
Uzbektelecom said that it will also improve sales along with changing brand. It will improve HR system, modernize call center and introduce single billing.
The company is also planning to construct 50 branded subscriber points in Uzbekistan, which will work on “single window” principle. The clients can pay for all services at these points.
