Sports 06/09/2008 Uzbeks gunning for three points In Qatar
The Central Asians impressed in the previous round with their free-flowing style and aim to carry on where they left off and get their Group A campaign off to a good start.

"We are focused on a victory in Doha," Inileyev told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

The boss wants three points on the board before the visit of Australia next Wednesday. Japan and Bahrain complete Group B in which a top two finish provides progression to South Africa.

"We are not afraid of anybody, not even Australia and Japan, and we are strongly united for the sake of the national team, for our fans and for ourselves," added Inileyev.

"We will not sit back in defence as we are focused on attack."

Uzbekistan may be without striker Alexander Geynrikh and midfielder Timur Kapadze but are otherwise at full strength.
