Uzbekneftegaz sign four agreements with Chinese companies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz national holding company signed four agreements with the Chinese partners, press-service of the Uzbek company said.

In particular, Uzbekneftegaz and China National Petroleum Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual understanding on organization of production of butadiene rubber and expansion of cooperation in oil and gas sector.

The document envisages creation of production of butadiene in Uzbekistan with further butadiene rubber output (preliminary capacity is 60,000 tonnes a year), which is used in production of tyres, footwear and other products.

The Uzbek company also inked agreement on cooperation with Xinjiang Guanghi Industry. The sides will cooperate in production and usage of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

In line with the document, it is planned to construct three production capacities on LNG output, develop logistic system of LNG realization.

Uzbekneftegaz and CIMC Enric Holdings Ltd signed memorandum of understanding on organization of production of gas fuelling stations, working with liquefied and compress (L-CNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG).

CITIC CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD, Uzbekneftegaz and Uzkimyosanoat signed three-side memorandum of understanding. The sides will study opportunity on creation of production of 200,000 tonnes of methanole and 100,000 tonnes of dimethyl ether at Ferghanaazot OJSC with further production of alternative types of liquid fuel.
