The document was inked within the official visit of the Vietnam’s Vice-Premier Hoang Chung Hai to Uzbekistan.

The delegation of Vietnam, including representatives of oil and companies, visited Uzbekneftegaz. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the oil and gas industry representatives of Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

As earlier reported, Petrovietnam and Uzbekneftegaz inked contract, in line with which Vietnamese company will drill three wells for exploration over the next five years in the Kossor block covering 5500 square kilometres. The Vietnamese firm will invest US$30 million to this project.
