The press service of Uzbekneftegaz said that the sides exchanged opinion on joint operations in Uzbekistan.

In particular, the sides discussed implementation of the project “On conducting geological exploration works at Kossor investment block of Ustyurt region of Uzbekistan”. The operator conducted seismic works and interpreted results, and determined several perspective structures.

The sides at the talks agreed that it is necessary to speed up further stages of works, so exploration and appraisal drilling can be started in close months.

The sides also noted that one of perspective directions of cooperation is to study palaeozoic deposits to reveal new structures.
