The head of the Malaysian company held talks with vice prime ministers of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov and Ergash Shoismatov in Tashkent.

The negotiations focused on further development of the Uzbek-Malaysian cooperation in the oil and gas sector and development of new joint projects, UzA reported.

Uzbekneftegaz national holding company and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) signed a memorandum of cooperation in oil and chemical industry and agreements on cooperation.
