Uzbekneftegaz: Negotiations were held with officials of Canada and the presidents of Canadian companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The exhibition stand of Uzbekneftegaz continues to operate at the 25th Anniversary International Oil and Gas Exhibition of Uzbekistan - OGU 2023.

Within the framework of the exhibition, negotiations were held between the management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Canadian Consul in the Republic of Uzbekistan E. LeClair, as well as with the presidents of Canadian companies.

The Canadian delegation consists of Condor Energies, 5Blue Processing, Crusader Joint Ventures, Master Flo Valve, Stream Flo, Jori International, Central Asia, Jori International, Thermo Design Engineering Ltd., GHGSat, and representatives of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

At a meeting with Condor Energies Inc. the current processes of cooperation to increase the volume of natural gas in the Gazli region were discussed.

The management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC showed great interest in the cooperation of Canadian companies in the field of education and advanced training in the oil and gas industry.

The Delegates’ Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is the world’s leading professional education institution offering educational services to oil and gas organizations. To date, SAIT provides vocational training and consulting in 48 countries through leadership workshops, vocational training to serve professionals and industries, facility design, and instructor training programs.

In addition, issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of environmental protection projects, the supply of equipment and the provision of services in the oil and gas industry were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on studying the prospects for cooperation in all areas and continuing all joint projects.

It should be noted that Canada is one of the largest oil exporting countries in the world. The daily volume of oil exports is 3.289 million barrels. Currently, the country ranks seventh in terms of oil production.
