Uzbekneftegaz modernizes Ferghana oil processing plant
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz national holding company announced tender on modernization of waste utilization system at the Ferghana oil processing plant.

Uznekneftegaz announced a tender with two lots – engineering and supply of equipment for object “Reconstruction of clearing establishments at the Ferghana oil and processing plant” and engineering and supply of equipment for object “Introduction of technologies and processing oil-slime at the Ferghana oil processing plant”.

In line with the tender document, the maximal price for the first lot ser at the size of US$3 million and for the second lot – US$5 million.

The project was included to the list of project of modernization, technical and technological re-equipment for 2009-2010. The project cost is US$20 million.

The project envisages to create capacities on processing of 7,000 tonnes of oil-slime a year. The project will allow to decrease oil products content in sewage up to 20 mg/l, air dirt – 25m/l, while it will also produce additional products of retained oil.

Ferghana oil processing plant was commissioned in 1959 and currently it produces about 60 types of oil products. The designed processing capacity of the plant is about 5.5 million tonnes of oil a year.
