Uzbekneftegaz increases gasoline supply amid limitations on CNG stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In December 2024, Uzbekneftegaz significantly increased its gasoline supply to compensate for the temporary restrictions on the operation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations. This was reported by the company’s press service.

The company’s press service stated that from 11 to 18 December, the volume of A-80 gasoline offered at stock exchanges increased from 1,800–2,000 tons per day to 8,000 tons, four times higher than the figures for November.

Over the month, 130.4 thousand tons of gasoline were placed on the exchange, of which 94.7 thousand tons was A-80 gasoline.

Compared to December 2023, fuel supply doubled, with A-80 gasoline volume increasing by more than 50%.

The company emphasized that the reserves of gasoline had increased nearly fourfold, reaching 60,000 tons, ensuring stable fuel supply for the population.

Additionally, starting from 19 February 2024, the price of diesel fuel was reduced by 15% due to the compounding of synthetic components at the Bukhara Oil Refining Plant. Diesel production capacities were also expanded.

To facilitate customer access, diesel fuel was sold at stock exchanges in smaller lots, and oil depots were fully equipped with infrastructure to supply fuel to various sectors, including agriculture.

Throughout 2024, diesel supplies were uninterrupted, noted Uzbekneftegaz. The company and its subsidiaries monitored fuel demand to ensure supply continuity on a daily basis.
