Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 October, a meeting was held between representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Islamic Development Bank and its agencies, which are part of the ICD group of financial institutions and Ansher Capital LLC.

At the meeting, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC provided information on the general activities of the company, ongoing transformation processes and investment projects.

ICD representatives offered their services in trade finance, public-private partnership finance and project finance.

Representatives of ICD and Ansher Capital LLC highlighted their many years of experience in the placement of securities "sukuk" (sharia bonds) in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekneftegaz presented information on the society’s strategy towards sustainable development (ESG) and discussed the projects planned for implementation.

At the end of the negotiations, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC noted that they were interested in developing cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and expanding relations with the financing of joint projects.
