The document was signed within the Uzbek-Spanish Business Forum, which was held within the framework of the visit of Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Miguel Angel Moratinos to Uzbekistan.

Ulugbek Nazarov, Uzbekneftegaz’s Board Chairman, said in interview to OGU Daily news that realization of important projects on modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of Uzbekneftegaz production entered to new phase.

During 2009-2014, it is planned to realize 52 investment projects for US$21.5 billion. The projects focus on introduction of modern equipment on deepening processing of raw materials and production of new competitive products, etc.
