Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 May, an off-take contract was signed between Uzbekistan GTL LLC and a Turkish company for the sale of a synthetic component of diesel fuel for export. This was reported by the information service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

On 24-26 June, according to the Buyer’s application under the contract, Uzbekistan GTL LLC shipped 3.4 thousand tons (67 wagons) of products for export from the Kengsoy station in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region.

The synthetic component of diesel fuel of the Uzbekistan GTL LLC plant is produced in accordance with the European standard EN 15940 among the countries of Central Asia only in Uzbekistan on the basis of the state standard O’zDSt 3134-2017. To date, this standard has not been introduced in Afghanistan.

During the export of the product, the Buyer was also informed that the synthetic diesel fuel and its component are not registered with the Afghan organization ANSA (Afghan Standards Agency). The buyer stated that the product is planned to be imported to the Afghan market in the form of blending with traditional diesel.

Uzbekneftegaz said that payment for 3.4 thousand tons (67 wagons) of quality products transferred to the buyer was 100% made and was not returned by the government of Afghanistan to "Uzbekistan GTL" as low-quality products.

Under the terms of the contract, the Buyer himself determines to which country he will import the goods and how to sell it.

It should be noted that the products manufactured by Uzbekneftegaz JSC are constantly and systematically brought into line with international and national standards.
