Uzbekneftegaz and TNG-Group to expand existing areas of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to discuss issues of mutual cooperation, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin Abdullayev met with members of the delegation headed by Deputy General Director of TNG-Group Farit Vasiliev.

During the mutual meeting of representatives of Uzbekneftegaz and TNG-Group, issues of geophysical services, well workover and 2D and 3D seismic surveys were discussed.

It should be noted that cooperation with this large company with almost 70 years of rich experience gives its positive results. TNG-Group is considered one of the leading providers of oilfield services not only in the CIS countries, but also in the world.

Since 2018, the TNG LOGGING ASIA joint venture of TNG-Grupp has been cooperating with many local and foreign enterprises operating in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, it was noted that in 2021, geophysical surveys and perforation of productive formations were carried out by TNG-Group at the fields and wells owned by Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

During the negotiations, the parties expressed the importance and relevance of the direction of cooperation between the two companies and agreed to establish mutual practice of specialists, improve their knowledge and skills.

The management of Uzbekneftegaz and TNG-Group discussed at the Modeling Center the issue of exchange of experience and mutual cooperation on the use of modern technologies for processing and studying seismic data.

Farit Vasiliev, Deputy General Director of TNG-Group, said that in 2023 Uzbekneftegaz will help achieve new results in drilling and production using modern technologies and equipment.

The leaders noted that each discussed area is of strategic importance and will be important for the development of not only companies, but also the country's oil and gas industry.

As a result of the talks, we agreed to expand the existing areas of cooperation and strengthen the existing relations of mutual cooperation.

It was also decided to work together and develop a Road Map covering mutually beneficial and promising projects by responsible experts.
