Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 May, a regular meeting was held between the leadership of Uzbekneftegaz and the chairman of the board of the Silk Road Fund of the People’s Republic of China.

Issues of current and prospective development of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

Further stages of financing investment projects are also considered.

During the conversation, the management of the fund got acquainted with the transformation processes of Uzbekneftegaz, the results achieved, the work being done to ensure economic stability and ongoing projects.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on further expansion of cooperation and financing of joint projects.

It should be noted that the Silk Road Fund is a Chinese investment fund that provides support for infrastructure projects, trade cooperation facilitation and financing under the Belt and Road Initiative.
