Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to eliminate the negative consequences of the accumulation of sulfur products as a by-product in the territory of the Mubarak GPP, a number of measures are being taken to implement it and sharply reduce its residues.

In total, over the past 10 months of this year, 401,800 tons of sulfur products have been sold at the expense of one Mubarak GPP and joint ventures.

In particular, due to the total export of 38,500 tons of sulfur products by the Mubarak GPP in January-October 2022, US$1.5 million were credited to the company’s currency account.

About 373.4 billion soums of foreign exchange earnings were achieved through sales to large industrial enterprises - Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant JSC, Navoiazot JSC, Maksam-Chirchik JSC in the amount of 140 thousand tons and to private entrepreneurs in the amount of 129.7 thousand tons.

About 89,700 tons of sulfur products of joint ventures were sold by Mubarak GPP, including under contracts for storage, loading and transportation of products of partner organizations.

All necessary measures are being taken to sell a total of 440,000 tons of sulfur products by the end of the year or deliver 20,000 tons of products to consumers in November.
