Uzbekkino publishes the official trailer of the military-historical film “Ilkhak”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Ilkhak, a historical film based on real events, tells about the tragic story of Zulfiya Zakirova from the village of Khanabad, Zangiata district of Tashkent region, who lost five sons on the battlefields of World War II: Isokjon, Ahmadjon , Muhammadjon, Wahobjon and Yusufjon Kholmatov.

The idea of creating the film was voiced by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The feature film "Ilkhak" is created by film company "EZGUFilm" in line with the order of the national agency "Uzbekkino". The director of the film is Jahongir Akhmedov.

The filming process ended in March 2020. In total, more than 2,000 people were involved in the film throughout the entire shooting period. In addition, additional shots of military scenes in Belarus were organized at Uzbekkino in partnership with Belarusfilm. It was here that military scenes were filmed, reflecting the courage and courage shown by the sons of Zulfiya Zokirova on the battlefields.

Despite the pandemic, the Uzbekkino and the creative teams of film studios, in compliance with the necessary security requirements, continue to work on creating a number of films dedicated to the huge contribution of Uzbekistan to the victory over fascism in World War II.

Among the military-themed films is the four-part epic “Feat of the People” directed by Ali Hamraev, based on newsreels, as well as the feature film “101” directed by Khamidullo Khasanov, dedicated to 101 Uzbek prisoners of war of the Dutch concentration camp Amersfoort, created to perpetuate the names of Uzbeks fascism based on the novel of the same name by Anvar Ergashev and Yulia Medvedovskaya.
