Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 29 December, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “Uzbekkino” and 10 national television channels for the first time in Uzbekistan organize a campaign to simultaneously broadcast the full version of the film “Bygone Days.” The screening of the film, based on the novel of the outstanding writer Abdulla Qodiriy, is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the writer.
“On the personal initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the full version of the popularly beloved film“Bygone Days”, created in 1969 by the famous director Yuldash Agzamov, was restored and digitized from a negative film and transferred to Uzbekistan on December 27, 2019, the Director General of Uzbekkino noted Firdavs Abdukhalikov. - An unprecedented action, which was carried out with the support of the well-known philanthropist Alisher Usmanov, was the first step in implementing a national project to return digitized versions of masterpieces of national cinema from the Russian cinema fund. In this regard, the Uzbekkino National Agency expresses deep gratitude to our compatriot Alisher Usmanov for an invaluable gift to the Uzbek people, Abdukhalikov emphasized.
