Uzbekistan’s used car market: Downward trend continues
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2025, prices for locally produced vehicles and electric cars continued to decline in Uzbekistan’s secondary automobile market.
Prices of Popular Local Cars
According to experts from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, prices for the most in-demand domestically produced cars decreased compared to December 2024.
Onix:
Low mileage: –2.4% ($14,350 → $14,000)
High mileage: –1.5% ($13,000 → $12,800)
Lacetti:
Low mileage: –0.7% ($15,000 → $14,900)
Medium mileage: –1.4% ($14,500 → $14,300)
High mileage: –1.7% ($13,327 → $13,095)
Cobalt:
Low mileage: –1.4% ($12,901 → $12,725)
Medium mileage: –2.4% ($12,300 → $12,000)
High mileage: –1.7% ($11,700 → $11,500)
Nexia:
Medium mileage: –1.8% ($11,400 → $11,200)

Electric Vehicle Prices
Prices declined across almost all models, except for BYD E2 and BYD Yuan Up with high mileage, which remained unchanged at $15,250 and $20,000, respectively.

Research Methodology
The data for this analysis was collected through web scraping from olx.uz. After cleaning and processing the data, 18,700 listings were analyzed in December 2024 and 16,500 listings in January 2025.
