Uzbekistan’s Turkiston Bank to increase charter capital by 6bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Private open joint stock commercial investment bank Turkiston (Turkiston Bank) will increase its charter capital by 6 billion soums, the bank said in an announcement.

The Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market under the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan registered emission prospectus of the bank.

According to the document, the company will issue 6 million ordinary shares with par value of 1,000 soums each. Total volume of emission on nominal value makes up 6 billion soums.

Turkiston Bank is planning to place shares of the emission on open subscription. At the same time, the bank provided preferential right to shareholders to purchase shares.

Turkiston Bank has been founded on 15 May 1997 in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan. The bank’s activities are regulated with the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and carried out in line with license No. 57 from 25 January 2003.

The bank’s main activity directions are rendering banking services, carrying out operation with securities, providing loans and guarantees.
