The presentation was organized for members of City’s People’s Government, representatives of Department on tourism affairs of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as well as business circles.

The presentation was held within the Seventh Xinjiang International Tourism Fair in Karamay. The People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People’s Government of Karamay, as well as China’s State Department on tourism affairs organized the event.

Diplomatic corps, accredited in China, and tourism companies from over 30 countries of the world, participated in various events of the festival.

During the presentation, the participants received information on current-state of trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and China, investment climate in Uzbekistan, guarantees and preferences for foreign investors.

The participants also were informed on advantages of modern economy of Uzbekistan for foreign companies and Navoi free industrial and economic zone. It was said cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in tourism is developing dynamically.

Uzbekistan is becoming popular touristic destination due to the policy of the government directed at developing tourism infrastructure. Such cities as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva are attracting interest of tourists worldwide.
