Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the third quarter of 2024, Uzbekistan’s tax authorities collected more than 49.1 trillion soums, which is a 21.6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the State Tax Committee.
Specifically, the budget received 11.9 trillion soums from corporate income tax, a 16.8% rise compared to the same period in 2023. Value-added tax (VAT) revenues amounted to 10.6 trillion soums (+30.6%), while personal income tax (PIT) collections reached 8.5 trillion soums (+17.9%).
Additionally, excise tax revenues totaled over 4.7 trillion soums (+25.7%), 4.5 trillion soums came from subsoil use taxes (+16.8%), 4.4 trillion soums from non-tax revenues (+14.3%), and 2 trillion soums from land tax (+24%).
During the reporting period, property tax revenues were 1.6 trillion soums (+45.2%), turnover tax revenues amounted to 755.7 billion soums (+26.6%), and water resource tax collections reached 196.9 billion soums (+20.1%).
