Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan exported 6.4 thousand tons of pepper worth US$8.9 million in January–December 2024, according to the Statistics Agency.

Analysts note that the demand for Uzbek pepper continues to rise due to its taste, affordability, and competitiveness in the global market. Experts predict that export volumes could increase in 2025, provided favorable conditions for farmers and exporters are maintained.

Further development of logistics and international partnerships is expected to boost Uzbek pepper exports, enhancing the country’s position in the global spice and agricultural markets.
