Uzbekistan’s pavilion named one of the best at Expo 2025 by Dezeen

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to Dezeen, one of the most influential international media outlets in the fields of architecture and design, Uzbekistan’s pavilion has been recognized as one of the ten most outstanding exhibitions at the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
In an article published on 11 April 2025, Dezeen experts highlighted the pavilion’s unique architectural approach, conceptual sustainability, and profound philosophical message. The project was designed by the renowned architectural firm Atelier Brückner.
The theme of the Uzbek pavilion — “How to Live in the Future and How to Be Happy” — reflects the country’s aspirations for innovative development, harmony with the environment, and the pursuit of a better quality of life. The project is being led by Gayane Umerova, Executive Director of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition showcases Uzbekistan’s achievements in sustainable development, education, and culture, while emphasizing its openness to international cooperation and global dialogue.

Saudi Arabia – Designed by Foster + Partners, the pavilion consists of angular volumes surrounding a green inner courtyard, with high-tech installations that explore the Kingdom’s cultural heritage.

France – A cube-like structure with a winding path leading to a rooftop garden, symbolizing the nation’s contributions to culture and ecology.
Italy – A fusion of Renaissance architectural elements and cutting-edge technologies, inspired by the concept of the City of the Future.
Canada – A space emphasizing sustainable development and cultural diversity.
Australia – A pavilion focused on environmental innovations and biodiversity conservation.
Belgium – A creatively designed exhibit highlighting both technological progress and cultural traditions.

Netherlands – A fully circular structure featuring an artificial sun, illustrating cutting-edge energy solutions.
