Uzbekistan’s largest taxpayers paid 8.5 trillion soums in taxes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2025, Uzbekistan’s 959 largest taxpayers contributed over 8.5 trillion soums in taxes to the state budget, according to the country’s Tax Committee.
Of this amount, 4.5 trillion soums came from the ten largest state-owned enterprises, while 1.3 trillion soums were paid by the ten leading private taxpayers.
Among state-owned companies, the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NGMK) led the rankings, transferring 2.08 trillion soums to the budget. The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) secured the second position with 639.1 billion soums in tax payments. The top four were rounded out by Uzkimyosanoat (388 billion soums) and Navoiuran (298.5 billion soums).
Other major state-owned taxpayers included Uzbekneftegaz (279.8 billion soums), Hududgazta’minot (240.3 billion soums), UzGazTrade (218.3 billion soums), Asia Trans Gas (148.5 billion soums), Aloqabank (116.5 billion soums), and Uztransgaz (111.2 billion soums).
Among private companies, UzBAT was the top taxpayer, contributing 182 billion soums. ADM Jizzakh followed in second place with 62.2 billion soums, while Epsilon Development ranked third, paying 50.6 billion soums in taxes.
The list of the ten largest private taxpayers also included Kapitalbank (48 billion soums), Hamkorbank (47.6 billion soums), Unitel (47.6 billion soums), Tashkent Tobacco (42.3 billion soums), TBC Bank (37 billion soums), Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistan (36.7 billion soums), and RWS Optimum (33.5 billion soums).
