Within the event, Fund Forum held an exhibition “Uzbekistan Today”, which was dedicated to achievements of Uzbekistan during independence years, historic and cultural monuments of Uzbekistan, rich architecture heritage, ancient cities – Samarkand, Khiva, Bukhara and Tashkent.

Delegations from the CIS countries, Chinese government and Urumqi city, as well as representatives of mass media participated at the event.

Delegation of Uzbekistan presented information on current state of the Uzbek-Chinese trade-economic relations, investment climate in Uzbekistan, guarantees and preferences for foreign investors. Over 100 business entities of China and other countries received detailed information on advantages of modern economy of Uzbekistan for foreign investors and benefits of investing into Navoi free industrial-economic zone.

During the presentation, the Chinese business circles expressed satisfaction with create favorable investment climate in Uzbekistan and readiness for further expansion of their activity in Uzbekistan. It was noted that gradual and pragmatic development of national economy is evidence for long-term perspectives of development and interest of Uzbekistan in developing local industry with creating basis for export strategy.

The Uzbek delegation presented materials on investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, historic and cultural sights, tourism routs of Uzbekistan to participants of the seminar.

Xinjiang Weilun International Trade director-general Yui Zhen Hai said that Uzbekistan created favorable conditions, which ensures development of cooperation. He said that there are huge opportunities in introduction and development of new technologies in Uzbekistan, creation of joint ventures and development of tourism.
